Compulsory Third Party (CTP)

Dr Margaret Tadros has been providing services to people with physical and psychological injuries related to motor vehicle accidents for over 15 years. She understands the challenges involved in recovering from these injuries and has the expertise to provide you with the psychological treatment you need to recover as quickly as possible.

If you have a current CTP claim and have been referred by your Nominated Treating Doctor or Nominated Treating Specialist you will need to provide Dr Tadros with the referral and your claim details (i.e. the claim number, insurer and contact details for your case manager). At your first appointment you will also need to provide consent for Dr Tadros to communicate with the insurer, your doctors, other treatment providers, and any rehabilitation providers involved. This is a requirement of receiving treatment in the CTP system, but it is also the best way to ensure that everyone involved in your case is working together to achieve the best outcome for you.

Written approval from the insurer is required for psychological treatment to commence. If your insurer is aware of the referral to Dr Tadros and has indicated their support, a tentative appointment can be scheduled while written approval is being obtained.
